How to Install KYB Gas-A-Simply Quad Shock on Your 1994-2004 GT, V6, Mach 1 or 1994-1998 Cobra

• Floor Jack
• 2 Jack stands
• 15mm socket
• 18mm socket
• Ratchet
• Ratchet extension
• WD-40

Installation

Removal of stock quad shocks:

ane. Park the vehicle on a difficult flat surface and engage the parking brake. If y'all take a transmission transmission, place the shifter into beginning gear. Brimming the front tires so that they will not move when you lot are jacking upward the rear of the vehicle. See motion picture below.

two. Loosen the lug nuts on both of the rear wheels.

three. Place the floor jack under the rear differential and raise information technology high enough for the wheels to come off the basis. Advisedly place the jack stands under the axle, one on each side of the differential. Then slowly lower the car onto the jack stands.

Installation of KYB Quad Shocks:

5. Place both hands on the daze and connect to the mounting postal service. Use the stock 18mm nut and tighten downwards. Caution: The shock is extremely strong and y'all will take to exist very cautious with it.

7. Now, torque the nut and the bolts down tightly. So reinstall your wheels and tires.

8. Raise the motorcar up with the flooring jack, carefully remove the jack stands and slowly lower the machine.
